If the Stars were to trade a first for Burns, more retention would be needed.

I don’t personally think so. According to Friedman team are interested and that tells me he’s going to have some value in the league at full salary

I just don’t think it’d be beneficial to Dallas if they traded a 1st for a 6 million dollar dman when they could sign Klingberg for an extra million and keep the first.
