I don’t think Puli is worth a 1st and a 2nd, Mayfield is worth a late first

And Barrie probably isn’t worth a 2nd+ maybe a third with his contract

That line up wins the cup. However it is not realistic.

No chance pool party signs for 2 million, also I think Islanders want assets not cap back IMO.

Kassian should cost more to dump.

Doubt Yamamoto signs for so little too.

Better goaltending NEED
Shut down D in Mayfield NEED
Signing arguable our best D in the playoffs
Marchment another big body and goalscorer
A year of Holloway
Healthy Nurse and Draisaitl
Forth line is the only brutal part, but they wont play much, roll 3 lines

Upgrade everywhere and we made it to the conference final

that’s fair. I’d be willing to move a pick on the oilers side and take it away from the islanders side. I have puli a bit more more because he is a rfa and mayfield will be a ugandan. but if mayfield is willing to sign an extension with the oilers, then definitely i’d do puli + picks

I think barrie is worth a second. he is a great offensive d man with only 2 years on his deal. For a team like seattle i think that could work. Maybe take away the forth, but I think a second is fair.

Puli struggled in the second half of the year(goals wise) so 2-2.5 on a one year deal i think could be realistic.

in order to dump kassian, add a pick to samorukov. but he is a decent d prospect.

as for yamo, he doesn’t have arbitration, so you could theoretically squeeze him into a decent bridge deal. maybe it ends up being 2.5 on a one year deal. but something around that for sure

Isles are trying to win next year, and Mayfield is too important to lose. We decline.
