Pretty swift Rangers decline. Kakko on ice value has been orders of magnitude different from Dach the past couple seasons...

Kane, Toews and Debrincat are on expiring contract.
Don't think Hawks will get more for Toews.
Kane and DeBrincat, maybe the trade could be review with picks, but We never saw a trade where 4+ pieces going the other side. So I think these deal could be good. Just look at all the pick they get in the three next year.

Baffled by the Kane to Buffalo trades. I haven't heard any rumors of him wanting to go to Buffalo, and in fact hasn't he said he wants to stay in Chicago? One year of Kane doesn't help the Sabres rebuild especially with their biggest needs being in goal and on RD. If he really wants to play in Buffalo he'll go there as a UFA without Buffalo needing to give up assets to acquire him.

Do you think DeBrincat is a pending UFA or something? He's 24

Kane is not going to Buffalo. He has a full no move , if they trade him he's going to a team with a chance to win the cup. Maybe he goes to Buffalo in the last year of his career.
No one is taking Seth Jones and his 9,500,000 for the next 8 years unless Chicago retains
