Habs arent going to touch that i dont think. Evans alone is worth more than a camp dumb and a late first, we already have the 27th and 33rd pick. Also really dont think Montreal as an organization wants to deal with Kassian again.

Jake Evans contract alone worth more then a late first round pick. Taking Kassian cap hit is brutal so that would be a big no from Kent Hugues. Montreal aren’t deep at center position so that make their centerman even more valuable for them. Unless their a top prospect involved Montreal won’t be making that trade. They already have 14 pick this year and 7 of them in the top 100.

Why Oilers fans always trade Kassian to MTL we don't want him AND we don't have the cap space, at least not yet.(and this is if we make trade this summer).
take out Evans and the 3rd round and maybe just maybe MTL take it (if other trades works for cap space)and buy out Kassian because they absolutly don't want him near their club.Or retain salary and ship him elsewhere as long is far away from MTL.
