Description

Dk if this team makes the playoffs honestly. It all depends how our young guys play. We’d be better than last year just based off the improvement in goal, but I don’t know if an offseason like this gets us into the playoffs. Jack is still left without a true elite first line winger and Nico’s wings could be hit or miss. Like the makeup of the third line especially since Tatar and Slafkovsky have played together, and 4th line brings size, energy, and speed. D core looks fine; Dumolin would be good guy to play alongside Walsh as he gets adjusted to NHL

I tend to agree with this mindset, I don’t think the devils are in any position (yet) to go out and splash on big ufa winger. I think marchment would be an underrated signing for sure and while I doubt the team would be good enough for playoffs, I think we should expect a solid season from the young guys
