I made that same Canes trade. Apparently they dont like it but I lowkey like it.. might have to add I guess.
I dont think McGinn is going anywhere.

Again, Necas only gets moved for a pure goal scoring winger. Necas still has a lot of upside and the Canes don’t want to trade him. I just don’t think the Pens have the right pieces to acquire Necas that would interest the Canes.

I like Marino, but you can groom a 2nd pairing dman any day, and the Cane already have Pesce in that role, and Pesce’a eventual replacement is still developing. As for Kapanen, I love Kappy and would love to see another Kappy in a Canes jersey, but he just isn’t as good as Necas. The only positional need the Canes have is LW, so acquiring RD which has gotten deep real quick after last season, and RW which is also a logjam, but at least workable, is at best a lateral move if the value was there.

The only target they might want to trade Necas for on the Pens roster is Guentzel, and I wouldn’t do that in my opinion just looking at his production when he plays with Crosby and when he doesn’t and how different it is.

Necas is miles better than Kapanen and while Marino might be better than Bear, not enough to make this swap. Pittsburgh don't exactly have the greatest prospect pool to flush the deal out with either so I just don't see this working

Los Angeles has no need or incentive to dump Sean Walker.
