  1. 2023 4th round pick (LAK)
LAK
  1. Byron, Paul
  2. 2022 7th round pick (MTL)
Additional Details:
The Kings could use some speed, and for the price of a fourth rounder, Byron isn't a bad option
2.
MTL
  1. Dellandrea, Ty
  2. 2022 3rd round pick (DAL)
DAL
  1. Petry, Jeff
  2. 2023 5th round pick (CGY)
Additional Details:
Dallas has a deep pool of forward prospects, so i believe they would be willing to part with Dellandrea
3.
MTL
  1. 2023 1st round pick (WSH)
WSH
  1. Dvorak, Christian
  2. 2022 4th round pick (TBL)
Additional Details:
The First Round pick is top 10 protected

With Backstrom injured, that leaves a hole at 2C that Dvorak can fill for the Caps
4.
MTL
  1. 2023 4th round pick (ANA)
ANA
  1. Armia, Joel
Additional Details:
I think Anaheim makes sense here, as they have loads of cap space, and besides Terry their RW’s are pretty bad

The Kings don't have any room in their bottom six, and they're not going to waste $3½M on an aging veteran when they have better options on ELCs.

Dvorak would not be my first choice as a Backstrom replacement. He pretty much demonstrated he can't be a 2c on a good team this past year

Dvorak, 4th for 1st

Dvorak is not a 2C. He would not replace Backstrom, he would replace Eller as 3C.

Caps counter: Dvorak, 4th for 2nd

Armia is a cap dump and Byron is an expensive, oft-injured rental. The SoCal teams decline.
