If Marner and Bratt are involved in the same trade, Jersey is adding at least 3 more pieces, 2 first rounders and a blue-chip prospect. There skill level isn't in the same universe.

Not true at all. In terms of true “skill” Bratt is probably better. Definitely faster and has better edges; he’s one of the best skaters in the league. Marner is obviously better but I wouldn’t necessarily say he’s the more skilled player

I think you severely over rate the Leaf prospects, not to mention that no one wants to retain salary for that amount of yrs (FLA retains 5mil for 5 years?).

Add in that as a Leafs fan you should know that Amirov should be untouchable and it shows some ignorance that you're trading him

Among forwards, Marner was 13th in the league in xGAR and Bratt was 20th. On a rate basis for TOI>500, 18th and 23. They’re really much closer than people think.
