I don't think Vatrano or Kakko sign for this much, prob 500k more each I would imagine. Strome is a UFA this off season.

you can sell the rights to a UFA prior to them going UFA. NYR did this with Yandle and I believe got a 4th rounder back. It allows the team trading for the player to discuss/sign a contract during that one week window prior to FA.

Nail on the head on the Vatrano/Kakko. The only way vatrano would even consider is if he is promised to be a lock next to kreider/zib all year long on a 1 year contract (making his next contract much more due to TOI)
