No I wouldn't, we don't need a 4th liner and absolutely not for two years.

The cost for dumping Kassian should be two 2nds and Puljujärvi isn't worth two 2nds and a 3rd to Detroit.

If you don't like it then keep him and his cap.

Detroit accepts, But only id you make the Edmonton 5th the Edmonton 2nd or else you can keep Kassian.

With so much cap space and no real buyout candidates, I don't see why Detroit would shy away. Just buy Kassian out if they don't want to allocate the roster spot.

I don't see buyout cap space (when we will need to make a FA or trade splash to even hit the cap floor), buyout cash, and a 3rd for JP and a 5th as being that out of whack. Wing is not a position of need, but this seems like a cheap way to get a guy with good underlying performance numbers and that still seems to have the potential to break out.
