that contract actually is probably worse than bob as he's a significantly worse player but it is a better buyout than bob

Exactly, try it out a year, if it doesn't work than just buy him out.

don’t think Sharks should take this risk. Could be Martin Jones but worse.

Add 3 mil in cap AND loose solid depth player as well as picks. Easy no

No way from SJ. We have enough bad contracts, not adding another unless a top prospect is coming back. Sharks are likely buying out Vlasic next year and we're not losing super valuable picks and players in the process. This is just flat out dumb.

I can’t see why San Jose is the one adding a starter caliber goalie, 3rd liner and two picks.

Probably not beneficial enough for us to take the 3rd. Depends what happens with other moves

Reimer is a backup goalie lol, this deal makes the Sharks better. Id rather have Bobrovsky at 10M over Vlasic at 7M.

Bobrovsky: .913 and 2.67
Reimer: .911 and 2.90

Not much different and $8 mil cheaper and many less years. Reimer is as much a starter as Bobrovsky and he was not on the president trophy winning team.
