Compiling Some Ideas

Created by: dtd_tank
Team: 2022-23 Detroit Red Wings
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 17, 2022
Published: Jun. 23, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Bobrovsky is bought out after either the 23-24 or 24-25 season depending on rises in the salary cap at that time (and if they need the 3.3M extra cap space after signing Larkin/Seider/Raymond/etc).

Zadorov brought in to provide some stability on the back end and to have a fellow Russian on the team with Bob. Yes, I'm aware that he doesn't play RD much.

Lundell has to be about untouchable for Florida, as much as I would love to get him. A guy doing what he is doing on an entry level contract will be vital for them as they try to win their first cup. I think he has more positive value than Bob has negative value for them and I don't think Veleno, Erne, and a 2nd changes that equation for a team competing now.

Detroit declines. A bottom 6 forward, prospect that doesn’t even crack their top 10 prospects, and a pick flip is not enough to get you a young, decent, club controlled 2nd pairing D. Maybe remove the 2nd entirely?

Ehh, that DAL trade was constructed with input from a Stars fan.

Nah easy decline from DET. DAL isn’t giving up much in that trade. Hronek, who was drafted in the middle of the 2nd round, is 14th in points for all forwards and D in his draft. Out of the 5 D ahead of him (some superstars like Chychrun, McAvoy, Fox, and Serg), only Fox has played less games.

Hronek is undervalued in that trade.
