Send 4 players we don't want for something we do.... makes sense.

Despite the fact the value is off, how many NHL teams want to execute a four for one deal? Do you have need of those three players and one middling prospect? I can't imagine anybody wants a deal like that.

"4 players we don't want"?? Loof is a solid LHD prospect, Barbashev is 25 and just put up 60 points, Kostin is mostly a throw-in, Scandella is still a solid bottom pairing guy (slightly overpaid). We can add a second round pick or something but it's not that far off.

So which of those guys do you think the Flyers want to acquire? Why would they move Provorov for that when they could clearly get more? A prospect, a throw-in, a winger one year from UFA and a cap dump.... SIGN ME UP!

Cant see the Flyers doing this. I like Barbashev but we don’t really need good depth pieces. I think the Flyers want a package more focused on quality future pieces
