- Not trading away Kerfoot so he can have something to show for when Kadri wins the cup

- Signing aging veterans like Sam Gagner and PK Subban over players that can help the team win in the playoffs

- Keeping Mrazek and not trading him away with the first round pick that he will need to add and a prospect

- Using Robertson, Steeves, and Abbruzese to fill the rest of the team

That could close to the lineup, though I think Holmberg might be AHL experience and certainly Abruzzese isn't a winger. But to depend on Mrazrek....seems the weakest like. His 1m X 4 year buyout might be best and then the Leafs can sign a 2.8m goalie.

Trade away holl for a 4th or a 5th. Using Robertson, Steeves, and Abbruzese to fill the rest of the team Won’t do nothing for you. Maybe Robertson but the rest just nothing because there on the 4th and 3rd line. Trade simmonds away for a 7th round. So you’d have about 2.9 million in cap.
Resign kase for a year for 1.2 million
Then sign Tyler motte for 1.2 million for 2 years
Then bring up Curtis and bring down Robertson

So, if you send down 2 of the RFA'S you have roughly 3.4 million to sign a good UFA winger.
