It doesn’t matter that the Sens picked him top 10, his market value is probably a 4th rd pick because he had a brutal D+1 season. He has less than a 50% chance of making the NHL. Take what you can get for him.

Just because he was taken 10th last year doesn't make his value a top 10 pick. My goodness. His value surely hasn’t stayed as a top 10 pick after the awful season he had this year. The reality is your GM made an awful reach of a pick and he’s nowhere near top 10 pick value. That’s the reality.

Bratt is younger and better than Fiala. Whoever is picked at 7 will likely never be as good as bratt
