I feel like you're spot on with Slafkovsky. Someone is going to take him earlier, but that's a high-risk pick.

Agreed. The skating is his biggest downfall. I think he's much higher on people's boards because of recency bias, but the skating isn't nowhere near top 5 worthy.

If the draft goes like this Montreal will be hard pressed to move up either from 26 to get one of Kasper/Kulich (Or secure Ohgren earlier) or from 33 to get one of Chesley/Hutson/Casey.

To clarify, these are just rankings. But I do agree with your take as in my mock draft (spoiler) I have Casey going to Montreal.

I like the fact that you have 2 NHL ready players in the second round.

They are overagers. Robertson is a second year draft eligible and Edmonds is a fourth-year draft eligible player. Outside the age, both players are flawless.

Bro the Devils aren't drafting Cooley, they already have Hischier and Hughes and their bottom 2 centers could be filled by anyone. A second overall pick on a guy who's going to spend most of his time in the bottom 6 is a waste.

Thanks for doing these! Personally i dont see the B's drafting a Goalie - thats one position id say they are comfortable with what they have.
