None of those trades make any sense for Winnipeg.

With Montreal’s current position, I think they would rather keep Wright. Dubois wanting to be a UFA in 2 years makes going after him for teams a risk because they don’t know if he would actually commit long term

Exactly and Wright will be better than Dubois

He wants to be a UFA with the Jets I think he’d definitely sign long term in Montreal

Pretty certain he'd sign for the max 8 years in Mtl

3 first rounders for a 2 year Helly run seems fine to me

They really should blow it up now, theres way too much turmoil around this team to salvage it and think they can piece together a lineup that's anything more than a wildcard team in the next couple years.

The Jets already have a few Sandin types, no need for another.

I’m not sure about his projectors, I got a feeling he’s gonna be similar to RNH

They wont, but I agree, a 2 season sell job, collect assets, and reset similar to what NYR have done.

I wouldn't want the Jets taking back cap dumps in each deal without compensation. Plus Montreal isn't moving 1OA.

Deals like Mrazek and Armia would expire by the time the team was relevant, Gardiner and Klefbom expire after one season, the compensation of picks, prospects, and Puljarvi is the compensation.

Make the 3rd a second and retain half on Wheeler and Canes should accept.
