If Winnipeg rebuilds, maybe...But if they can retool with a few trades and pickups, Hellebuyck is staying

Definitelyl not close on Helly's value to Winnipeg even without retention. You'd need to drop retention and start with a player the Jets need, like Holloway.

Yeah after I saw PLD's quote on wanting to be a free agent in 2024, I was very shocked and the org should not take that lightly. Also been hearing a lot about Wheeler, and even Scheiffle's comments from last year made me thing if he would get traded for something high end. If they did rebuild, they could garner a lot of high picks for those guys. Keep guys like Ehlers, Connor, Stanley, etc.

I mean all things considered, the Jets could probably be convinced by a good offer to go full blow up mode and trade Helly so no hate for trying.

But the asking price starts at like three or four 1st round picks, IMO. It would have to be huge. You're talking about a top three goalie in the league who only makes $6.16M for two full seasons before UFA.

This just isn't even close to enough

The fact that PLD is only committing to 2 years is totally fine
