Description
I would get Shane wright to pay another junior season and dominate, but probably not happen, Hoffman for future considerations, figured the trade might not be too bad we get minimal return we move up to a 14% chance we get a player in the 3rd round that plays more than 100 games vs 11% from the 4th round.

you’re entitled to your opinion i guess but anderson just makes no sense as a target for them. doesn’t really fit any of the profiles they’re looking for.

wilde has no value at all, it’s 13OA that would need to get removed if the trade was ever going to go through which again i don’t think it ever will since anderson doesn’t make sense as a target

I seriously don't see the appeal on Anderson.

Honestly I really hope I'm wrong but I just don't think anderson has any kind of value near that. he has a massive contract and really doesn't do much of anything.

I like him but if i was NYI i wouldnt trade their first for him, let alone add. hope I am wrong though...

Take Stranges out of the Petry deal and I think Dallas Considers something to that extent.
Don't really think Islanders want Anderson

multiple reputable sources have him as an isles target, I don't see him getting moved regardless but this is what i perceive his value to be if he does. As we are all aware value for players is opinionated. We seen this with the values members here gave players of all different teams at the trade deadline only to be so far off base it was silly.

what reputable sources? stefen rosner? he’s not at all reputable and is basically a capfriendly user with a blog, and i haven’t heard anyone else link it.

Still a 1st. Petry isn't getting a 1st from Dallas. If that's the price, they'll go elsewhere for a RD.

again i guess time will tell, but i believe that is the asking price. From what im reading its a first + but i dont see that happening. I feel he should bring back more than chairot for what he does. but thats my opinon and well everyone has one even if they dont line up

Start by removing Anderson and the Islanders 1st rounder.

That rangers trade is heinous. I think the rangers still decline if you add the islanders 1st rd pick. According to you a mediocre 2nd line center is worth a 2nd line RW and a 1RD

Stop just stop. While good prospects nils and kravtsov havent done a damn thing at the nhl level. Calling them a 2RW and a RD1 is asinine. And nils even if he hits will not be a top pair d.

If Nill sends away a 1st for 34yo Petry I'll be very disappointed unless 50% retained and a pick coming back.

I could see a 2nd with 35% retained. But idk, right handed dmen are getting an insane return.

Isles decline. They aren't giving up a first rounder (they haven't had one in 3 years) for a winger making 5.5/year that isn't really that special...They don't send much cap back in the deal either...this trade would cause them to make other deals just to fit in anderson and that isn't happening.
