I can't see Giroux wanting to sign in TOR. Could be wrong, but I would imagine he would want to head back to Florida.

With Giroux not in TOR, that LAK trade leaves a gaping hole in TOR's top 6.

Don't think FLA will want to retain that much for 4 years.

BOS seems like the wrong team to try and send Kerfoot and Holl to.

Unless you're taking back Foligno, Nosek and Coyle the Bruins aren't where you're shipping guys off too. they have no cap space for that, even though I think Kerfoot would be a good 3C for them.

I don't think any of those trades work to be honest. The Bobrovsky contract, even with retention, is still a risk I don't think Dubas would want to take (plus he has an NMC and would have to agree).

Bob and his NMC say heck no ! $10,000,000 to play in income tax free sunshine state of Florida or come to the cold in Toronto and pay half your salary in taxes while 85% of the media and fans say you suck on a daily basis .. what would you pick?

The value seems right in the Nylander trade -- at least, I can't fault it. But the respective terms are the sticking point for me. When their contracts are up, I'd rather have Kaliyev plus the possibility of re-signing Roy than Sandin plus the possibility of re-signing Nylander. It's a close decision, depending upon how much farther one thinks Nylander can carry the Kings in the next two seasons, but I'd decline.

laugh The Ontario taxes alone would kill Bobrovsky he's not waiving for any Canadian team. So Bob says no.

Claude Grioux either stays with Florida or goes to Ottawa. No way he's going to Toronto.
