I like Bear, he’s a great kid…Canes take any offer for a 2nd or 3rd. I also would like to see him stay in the Metro so the Canes forecheck can cause more turnovers when we play the Pens.

Nothing even semi-realistic about suggesting that the Kings would give up #19 overall for a veteran rental who isn't cheap. We can sign someone out of free agency including our own Alex Edler or Olli Maatta, both of whom played well and as well as we expected this past season, for less than Dumoulin's cap hit, get the same results, and not give up anything (like the Pittsburgh third-rounder, which is what he's worth).
