I'm sure . . . but NOT the point of my comment. Jets have enough top 9 forwards to think about "re-homing" in the coming weeks/months/years. NO CHANCE you're acquiring Ehlers or Connor. This deal is no where near the "realm of possibility."

I like Connor Brown, and I think it would be great if the Oilers could acquire him. However, Edmonton doesn't have a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th round pick this year. Unless Holland can rectify that, I doubt he'll be trading away his 1st round pick.

You're basically asking for the 29th OA pick, and a top 4 prospect in the Oiler organization, in order to exchange 2 years of Zack Kassian for 1 year of Connor Brown. No doubt Brown has significantly more trade value than Kassian, but given Edmonton's lack of draft picks and limited number of high-end offensive prospects, I think the Oilers would want some certainty beyond the 2022/23 season.
