They add a great defenseman in Chychrun on a solid contract as well. Arizona takes on cap, but receives picks and rights to Mangiapane.

That is a massive overpay, both Lucic and Monahan are free agents next year. They can sign Tkachuk to a one year and throw the cash from those two at him then, not mortgage the future.
