Not enough. Mrazek isn't a positive.
So 1 good prospect, an RFA without a set contract, a late first, & Kerfoot (another asset to flip) -- for a top 5 goalie in the world

Thought was top prospect, upside top 4 D, middle six winger/center to cover for when PLD is traded, a goalie just to have one and a late first.
What would you need to add?

Kerfoot doesn't fill in for PLD. Count him as a 2nd or early 3rd round pick for sake of value.
Need to add at least another early draft pick/good prospect to get in the ballpark.

Edit: and take out Mrazek.

Take out the 5th from Winnipeg, and probably add a 2023 3rd and a 2024 3rd from the leafs. Even then I don't know if the Jets would accept.

I think this is actually reasonably fair value, and would be of interest to Winnipeg if they pulled the trigger on trying a short retool. Dubois forcing his way out would push it.

That's unlikely though, unless they found good trades for Scheifele and Dubois. They'd want to keep it to a 2 year retool so Ehlers and Connor are still key contributors, and Sandin/Niemela could be important d-core parts in a couple years.

I think to get it over the line though, might have to remove Kerfoot (otherwise its too much) and add a conditional 2023 2nd that becomes a 1st if TOR makes the ECF or something. And no, I don't think teams want to take Kerfoot and flip him later, since his production is going to plummet on other teams cause he wont be with players like JT and Nylander.
