Not really sure why Toronto does 4. Canadiens pass for sure. Devils need a lot more coming back if Nylander is actually the guy they'd want. Vancouver might do that if they can't sign Horvat, but I doubt it.

I think that the Devils are hoping for 6 years or more of Nylander-like production from the forward they take at #2, so I doubt that they accept 2 years of Nylander for the possibility.

Toronto's cap issues are not Vancouver's problem . If Horvat was on the trade market it would be a bidding war and the offers would be much greater than this meager offer.
