Description

With the Sens pick they should target a top C like Savoie. With their own pick grab another C or top sniper like Geekie or Kasper. With Rangers pick target Reid Schaefer. He’s built like a Jet. Or trade the pick for a few later picks. Topias Leinonen is a solid G pick.

rangers have a tough time declining that trade but i would imagine they would since schneider is basically mcdavid in drury's eyes

However Drury and the NYR org values Schneider- makes zero sense to move for a guy which is gonna make next year’s CAP struggle even tighter- so not only would they lose Schneider…they would probably be forced to move one of LaF, Chytl, Kakko, or Miller.

If Dubois is extended, he either stays with the Jets or pulls down more than that in a trade.

Schneider is a good start for Scheifele, but that offer is still a little light.

Even if it is light, the only way a move for Schief would make sense is with a lot of retention..,which would just make the deal more expensive for NYR….what this all amounts to is that NYR and WPG are just not good trade partners for this deal.
