Ohh boy ! It’ll take a lot more than that to dump Mrazek

Toronto is the last team that should be taking Kassian

Pens pass. Kase has only played more than 55 games once in his career and that was still only 66. Definitely not worth a 2nd.

Pass, moving up 8 spots from early 2nd to very late 1st is not worth much

I wonder how much it would cost to get two teams to retain on his contract so that he's 900k.

Kase is an rfa that Dubas mentioned among the ufas they need to sign, I think it might be because they don't plan on qualifying him but haven't ruled out signing him during FA. So in his mind, at that moment, he slipped up. So, he probably doesn't get traded at all.

You guys are right that teams are going to play hardball but it has more to do with Toronto's cap space than Mrazek's contract. Buying him out is inexpensive for a team that needs to reach the cap floor, if they have no goalies then they can use him.

Chi pretty much fits the bill, but you guys probably aren't getting an A asset as a sweetener like you guys seem to want.

2nd rounder at the very least.

I expect it to be a 2nd rounder but wouldn't be surprised if it were a 3rd and that prospect (which would just be a throw in)

The proposed deal might happen too if there is someone Chi likes.

Hawks have a ton of ahl defensemen and no forward prospects. Think it'd have to be a forward

It's probably not worth it at that point. You can get a Kassian type on the FA market for that price

We don't need to reach the cap floor so that's out the door. 2nd rounder is about right to move mrazek, but a prospect could be included.

The value of moving up 13 spots from 38 to 25 is a late second rounder.

Also most insiders are saying the Hawks actually value Mrazek and would pay for him so offering anything in a sim like this is pretty generous.

LMAO, wrong. Most insiders are saying the Hawks are happy to take him for a good prospect or decent draft pick
