I think all those trades are quite doable. Jost would be a good fit in DET, OTT would be an excellent place for FIala and moving Kulikov clears cap

My one compalint is you have to have Boldy in your top 6, and he and Rossi should be playing together starting next year, That's the future of this team

adding Greig makes it an overpay from the Sens, he's a really legit prospect. guy more on the level of Jarventie/Lodin/Gustavsson/Ostapchuk, I'd do it

Yeah, I'm not exactly sure why he wants to break up the best shutdown line in hockey and put Rossi in between Greenway and Foligno when the GREEF line is perfect as is.

Sorry but Wings need Centers not Wingers so giving up a 2nd for a guy who had 8 goals and 12 assists is not going to happen

Wings aren’t giving up a 2nd round pick for a bottom 6 center who was recently swapped for another bottom 6 player.

Didn't really place them on their respective lines.

That's the nice thing on the Wings he's not a bottom 6. Besides you realize perhaps 10 of those 2nd rounders will play more games than Jost will in his career? I'm just guessing your putting a lot into those magic beans.

Considering Fiala will produce more than whoever gets drafted 7th OA something valuable needs to be added. I doubt Guerin is gonna say send me someone who won't play in the league. You want value, you need to give value. And don't think the Wild are "trapped" with Fiala. They can just as easily move Dumba and sign Fiala long term. In fact most fans seem to think that's exactly what he should do.

Hawks don’t need or want Kulikov. As a salary dump Guerin would have to include a high pick for Chicago to consider this. Otherwise don’t bother.

Kulikov isn't a bad player though. Or on a bad contract. Wild aren't adding to move him.

Plenty of teams could use a solid two-way defenseman who can play in their bottom 4.

Just because a player is being moved for cap space, doesn't mean they add to do so. To think a solid player on a decent contract would require additional assets to move is asinine.

Chicago has plenty of bottom 4 defensemen. Why would they want to trade for Kulikov? This is a salary dump any way you put it and salary dumps today require the seller to put up additional capital to make the deal work. Asinine or not, that’s the way the trade market works.

Quote someone if you want them to respond to you. Otherwise they're liable to miss it.

And I never once said he had to go to Chicago. Frankly I'd prefer he didn't. The last thing I want is to help the Blackhawks.

I was strictly speaking in general. And no, that's not how it works.

My bad on the posting, still learning. Since you were speaking in general I understand. My only point was that the Hawks don’t have any incentive to do this based on their current roster and one of their most valuable assets is cap space.

What have you seen from him that puts him higher up in DET’s lineup? DET 100% would rather take a shot at a younger player who yea may never reach their full potential than give up a future pick for a player who isn’t garbage but never played up to their ceiling. Magic beans all the way. He’s a bottom 6 player. Rebuilders do not make those types of trades.

Under someone's post are 4 buttons.

Report
Like
Quote
Multi-Quote

They're all pretty straight forward. Clicking each button does what it says. The Report button will flag the comment for Moderator attention. Like will give that person a like, and will show how much posters liked that comment. The Quote button, will automatically open up a reply box and a quote of that comment will automatically be inserted into it, it also automatically sends a notification to the notification bell in the upper right of the website and will let that poster know someone has replied to their comment. The Multi-Quote does the same thing but allows you to quote multiple comments, and is best used before clicking the quote button on the final comment you wish to quote.

Furthermore, there's a watch thread button in the upper right of the web page as well. Clicking it will send a notification everytime someone posts in that thread. But not everyone does this, and/or don't do it for every thread, so using the quote button is the surest way to let someone know you've responded to them.

-----------------

I get that, but not every team is going to say a player like Kulikov isn't worth something. He's more or less worth a 4th or 5th on his own and the Wild can easily get that from a team that could use him. The Isles or Carolina come to mind.

My point was, the Wild don't need to add anything in order to move him.

And this, Yeah so not happening Detroit isn't giving up no 2nd for Jost. Most on here were offering us a 3rd for him which i still wouldn't tough.

I'm getting short in ways to explain this but I'll say that Ottawa is probably almost as high on Greig as the Wild were on Boldy just a year ago when he was a prospect.

I don't think anybody disagree with this but it's probably more that you don't know how high the organization is on that particular guy(s). If you could see 7th OA + Pinto/Greig similar as 7th OA + Boldy then you would understand

Greig and Pinto are like most Sens fans saw Batherson and Norris not long ago, it still ended up that they were very underrated. I don't know if Greig/Pinto will end up as good but by asking for them, you're basically asking for another Top-10 pick from Ottawa
