Leadership is an intangible, but cannot be the core talent that makes a player good. PEB is a leader, as is Giroux, but Giroux does so much more and is better than PEB, but you could make the agreement that PEB is a bigger leader.

Mike Fisher isn't a 2c. It's a big hurt in the leadership department, but the skill will be replaced.

I agree that Karlsson is a very good player, i'm just saying that if shot blocks don't tell anything, he is no Drew Doughty.

Karlsson is great, but Doughty has shown how he can change teams. It's not just the Kings he's helped win, he's won a world cup, maybe more. He's got 2 stanley cups and a Norris, where as much as Karlsson's great, he hasn't done as much for Ottawa as Doughty has for LA.

im glad that when I will be voting for the Norris winner, I will take into account what the nominee has done outside the NHL

Hehe I guess that was worth 4M over 4 years to somebody handing out money . At least Girarde is a lefty shot who lost in the SCF to the Kings . Now he is back with Stralman, they are 1/3 of the Rangers blue line so almost there . Maybe they can get Carcillo, at least Hamonic is better than Girardi, just not a #1 D-man on the ice hehe . I don't know if read the advanced stats though it looks like Hamonic is in decline if anything from his peek ratings... Tampa is a nice place to retire after living in NY so I think this works out for everybody in the long run . Girardi only cost half what Russell did so guess that was a bargain basement deal if their both equal HEROs .
