As a Leafs fan, I'm pretty sure everyone says no except maybe VAN. I'm pretty sure Chicago fans will have a field day here.

. . . and not just Chicago fans. That's a fine trade for a devalued Dach and Murphy, but what's DeBrincat got to do with it?

A Chicago sports writer just wrote about this as a trade thats being discussed with Toronto. This is one on them... value wise it looks to be just about what Dubas would make

Aside from the two firsts, that's a poor return for DeBrincat alone, and even with the two firsts, it seems below value for him, especially with retention. And then you're getting four years of Murphy and practically Dach's entire career, which might turn out to be late-blooming like Puljujarvi. I'd be very suspicious of any reporter's bona fides if that was the actual deal Chicago was even entertaining.

Are you going to going to seriously type that you think that 2 cap dumps, 2 nobody prospects, and two late first round picks are worth DeBrincat, Dach, and Murphy? Yikes

Correction: two late firsts, one of which is over-the-horizon.
