That’s an interesting offer for Pitt. It would all depend on the health of zucker and if the doctors think he could rebound and have a healthy year for once.

Can you give me a scouting report on olofson? He is an interesting player to me but I haven’t watched him much. Why has he never put up the points\game he did in his first year? Would he fit well with Malkin? Crosby?

His first year he was on Eichel's Wing after that he played with a mix of Cozens, Mittelstadt, Eakin and co and still put some good stats on the board. With an elite passer like Crosby he could probably socr 25-30 golas

Trade up might be interesting, go get somebody they love, husso might be interesting depending on term and price, wouldn’t be bad to have a 3 year deal to a late 20’s veteran to add to the competition in net going forward. Like the other player adds, might be a veteran dman or forward in the ufa category that might save a pick or two.

Is he soft? When rakell came over I was surprised at how physical he was - his game has a lot of sand paper. Is olofson kinda like this at all?

Allow me to say once more on behalf of all EDM fans: Mittelstadt is of zero interest to EDM in general but especially not as a return for Puljujarvi.

I like that trade, I’d take it. Oloffson is young and can score. Put him in our top 6 and he can do wonders. And in the meantime we get rid of that Zucker contract.

No, not even a little. I really like him, he legitimately has a world class shot, which is why he's scored everywhere he's played. He developed a reputation for being easy to play against and being a power play specialist, both labels are outdated, but good luck shaking them. Last year he suffered an upper body injury that he played through, and the numbers say he should have sat out. He put up no offense whatsoever for the middle third of the season, while playing hurt. Honestly, the 25-30 goal estimates if he plays with crosby are probably on the conservative side. He's probably gonna get between 4.5 and 5 for a contract, lots of Sabres fans are quick to write him off, partially because we have several nice young wingers who are knocking on the door. Moving him for a good right shot d is fine for me as a hockey trade, reasonably we need a right shot d, but I'm not in any hurry to move him just because.

I don’t hate Olofson but he wouldn’t fit sullys system
Don’t matter if he has a good shot if he won’t forecheck and get back on D…
He’s also more a power play specialist (half his goals have come there) so he won’t bring much 5v5…
We’re trying to get away from that style of play as a team

Olofsson hasn’t been a power play specialist since Eichel left

True story. Like I said before, good luck shaking labels like that.
