He left Columbus for the big market and lights doubt he'd be willing to come to a Canadian version of what he had previously and jets don't really have the cap for him and not the best fit so idk tbh I'd say no personally due to cap and likelihood but I can see others maybe thinking different

Why would WPG do this? If you’re moving on from PLD, it’s likely you’re moving on from Schiefele, Wheeler, etc. Need young assets in return

Reports are the Chevy wants to start building around his younger core, I doubt he has any interest in 30 year old Breadman making slightly over $11,600,000 for the next 4 years. And besides zero chance of Breadman waiving for Winnipeg anyways.

I agree, Rangers need a top C and Panarin's $11M is obviously a hindrance. Circumstances make it a viable trade. WPG might add but idk.

I did a extended Pasta+DeBrusk for Dubois+X and what people were saying is that Pasta wouldn't want to move to WPG. I also suggested that package can go for Panarin+, and someone suggested that Panarin wouldnt want to go to Boston. So no chance that Panarin would go to WPG.

Also, if you are suggesting a 1 for 1, that would be a terrible trade for the Rangers.

Panarin is one of the 10 best offensive players in the world. But he is atrocious defensively

I noticed that this postseason. He is really lazy defensively. He played a lot better in Game 5-6 against TB. Something sparked him.

Panarin for Pasta is something NYR would do. Trust me. I don't think BOS does it. Just like WPG they might need to look for younger pieces and draft picks.

They can if they move on from Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler, But it doesn't make any sense adding a 30 year old who will be gone before they become competitive again. Besides it's highly unlikely that Panarin would even remotely considers waiving for Winnipeg.

Find cap space elsewhere.

And PLD is not a top center

It shows analytically as well. He went from being elite in all areas to being a one trick pony IMO. Again, elite offensively, elite of the elite on the PP, but doesn’t want to play defense. Wouldn’t be shocked if he rebounded next year back to his old ways though

Yeah, if a trade doesn't go through it would be because Panarin blocks the trade or Sweeney is asking too much for DeBrusk assuming BOS would only consider the trading for Panarin with DeBrusk in it.

Do you realize what'll happen to the Rangers offense if they traded Panarin to get that top C?.. lol
