Minnesota passes, Not even close for Kevin Fiala.

Kevin Fiala gets at least 8 x 7.5mil

Try closer to 6 x 6mil for Noah Dobson.

That doesn't even come close to getting Alex DeBrincat out of Chicago.

And good luck in 2023 when you have to pay Matthew Barzal and Alex DeBrincat $9,000,000 per each long term.

This is a fantasyland trade and not even remotely realistic.

First post or no, Clutterbuck and a 4th for Fiala is a downright insult.

And no disrespect to Bucksy, he's still beloved and well regarded from his time playing for us. But that was damn near a decade ago. How are Wild fans supposed to take that offer seriously without thinking it's a blatant trolling attempt.

Come on dude, there isn’t a justification in the world for that Fiala trade.

The #13 overall pick and somebody like Wahlström would do for Fiala. By the way, he wants at least three million more than what you are giving to him now. Welcome to CapFriendly, you'll learn the ropes.

Yeah the Fiala trade isn’t good but remember some people may not know how good a certain player is. I didn’t start off on this website knowing every single thing about every single teams players

The bare minimum for a proposal is looking up point totals.

Nobody's saying the value should be perfect on a first attempt, but trading a 25 year old who just had a 33 goal, 85 point season for a 34 year old who hasn't cracked 10 goals since 2016 and only hit 30 points once in his career over a decade ago is absolutely ridiculous with or with out the generous addition of a 4th round pick a year from now...

I'll give the benefit of the doubt on the contract since someone who is just starting here may not have an idea of contract values for players on other teams, but CapFriendly has basic info like G/A/P and age on player pages for this exact reason. Spending 10 seconds looking at their pages should make it pretty clear that this is nowhere in the realm of realistic. Even if Clutterbuck and Fiala had the same output (which they clearly don't), the difference between a 34 year old and a 25 year old would be a hell of a lot more than a 4th round pick.
