Description

Chicago, gift these guys a chance at a Cup (and out west at that, so it’s less return in draft capital than expected but Girard is such a great fit piece in the rebuild.) Fleury is a fun use of cap space but generally I wouldn’t take on additional term for most of that cap space. I use some on Nichushkin and Lehkonen here but not sure a Nichushkin (or Kadri or Burakowsky) deal makes sense.

Can’t keep Kadri, the team’s cap structure is going to change a ton after next season. This was just creative brainstorming “what can the Avs do with all that cap space for just one year?”
