Is there an expected date for when the NHL will have a verdict on the grievance case?

as per staples, spector, and bob stoff it seems like maybe the idea is for kanes team to drop the grievance and the NHL to reinstate the contract and then trade it to edmonton. this is what the NHLPA would want as they do not want to set a precedent that a team can magically erase a contract from their books without having justification.

Our reward for retaining for you is two big cap dumps? I would do Kane with no retention for Pool and Kassian, but that’s it

well you arent the GM of the sharks are you.

foegele is far from a cap dump, he is a solid NHL 3rd line winger who can spend time in the top 6 without hurting you, the problem for oilers is that they have dylan holloway pushing for his spot on an ELC who is faster, and has shown tremendous promise.

I am not one, but neither are you. If Foegele was that good the oilers would not be ditching him.

If he cost 0.7 mil then I would be happy to take him for the fourth line, but he costs the amount that a guy who can actually do what you described can do so he is a cap dump

because there is so many 3rd line wingers with size and speed that make 700k that arent on entry level contracts.
