I’m not sure if namestnikov is the guy for that line but that’s nit picking. I think I would consider putting nylander with miller and Malkin then signing someone more physical for the third line, or you could bring back Erod for the third line or just put namestnikov there. I just think nylander’s skill set works best with elite talent. The only worry would be he isn’t ready for that, but if you get Erod you know he can play up and down the lineup and so can Heinen so you have a backup for if he isn’t ready

True. Other than that, the amount of versatility would fit sullivan system. Realistic too

Value is fine for the Vancouver trade but they would probably want the second round pick to be 2022 or 2023

Even with a 4th coming back Yzerman isn't going to give up a 2nd in a deal for Pettersson, Detroit has other options.

Rielly, Brodie, Muzzin, Gio, Liljegren, Sandin, Holl. Even if you move Holl out, you're either holding Sandin out of the lineup, or Boosh @ $2.5

Muzzin isn't going on LTIR, or waiving his NTC-- So unless Sandin is on his way out in a trade package, Boosh will be in a different Jersey next season.
