I wouldn't trade Walker for Muzzin 1-for-1, let alone throw in draft picks.

Posts like this are why people laugh at leaf fans. That dcore and goalie is not nearly good enough to compete. Dylan strone was also the bust of the century.

A more awful and more unlikely Muzzin trade than the usual ridiculous fantasy.

It never ceases to amaze me how so many Toronto fans are so abysmally ignorant about their own team that they don't know why Jake Muzzin asked for, and Kyle Dubas gave him, an absolute NTC when he signed his new contract with the Maple Leafs on February 24, 2020.

Just out of curiosity, how does this segment of the Maple Leafs fanbase think the mechanics of this transaction would unfold? Doesn’t it occur to anyone that before Dubas could make this offer to Blake, he’d have to go to Muzzin and ask him to waive his NTC? And who thinks Muzzin would prefer to return to Los Angeles instead of stay at home?

And no team is going to pay one second for him, let alone add significant other assets. Never mind the fact that Muzzin doesn’t fit the Kings without at least 40% retention, because our primary objectives this summer are a top-line forward and a true #1 LD, either of which would require maximum cap space.

Awful.

Canes don’t need Holl and nobody is giving a 2nd for him if they did.

Kings trade is even worse - Muzzin doesn’t waive and if he did you’d get a mid pick alone at best. Unless you’re willing to retain and he’s willing to go anywhere. Both of which aren’t happening.

The only true rumour is Toronto will be declared cup favorites in October, Muzzin not going back to LA especially for that package. LA is not wasting cap space for the next 2 season for a concussion all star and paying a premium for the privledge.
