I doubt that Buffalo is longing for the guy who spurned them. But I'd love to move Petersen.

He has a 10-team NTC which doesn't kick in until July 18. However, the Kings aren't going to trade either of their goaltenders. I suspect Quick/Petersen will be the goaltending tandem for at least 2, possibly 3 more seasons.

I'd be leery of giving Forsberg 9+ million a year. Great player but that's got buyers remorse written all over it. He was a career 12% shooter until this past season where he shot 18.6% which raised his career average to 12.9%. I don't know how sustainable that is for a guy who's only shot above 13% in 3 of his previous 7 full seasons.
