Muzzin is worth way more than that, so is Debrinecat, so at least you did one bad value each way

So why does Muzzin to Anaheim? Nice troll on that Chicago trade

Idk, think Chicago might need to add to that, we wouldn’t give up Justin Holl and Petr Mrazek so easily. How about they add in their next 5 1st round picks? And Kirby Dach, just to be safe

Short a couple of firsts and high end prospects in that hawks trade. That's not enough to have them consider taking mrazek.

For that package, I'm sure Chicago would be willing to give you Mackenzie Entwhistle. Alex DeBrincat, not so much.

Moving Mrazek isn't going to be as hard as trolls want it to be. He does have a wealth of NHL experience and good play. One injury plagued year does not cancel out everything else. But, Debrincat certainly is worth a pile more than this.

That might of been a bit of hyperbole. There is actually more than enough value to move mrazek. Just not in the form they want. I figure it costs at least a 3rd. This is well short of debrincat's value either way.

Oh of course. Debrincat would likely cost Nylander plus. Or something like 2 1sts, Robertson and Niemela.

But I have a feeling more than 1 GM is going to see Mrazek as a buy low option when they miss out on the very thin Goalie Market. He's proven himself an above average NHL goalie.

I think it's going to be buy extremely low. Get an asset and role the dice in him. He could easily bounce back. But leafs are not in a position to gamble.

To respond to everyone. Mussin is just a salary dump & he holds all the cards. The chicago trade was a fun one, they where willing to take Mrazek, our first & a high prospect .For fluery .
And the buy out wasn't so bad if it doesn't work out, so now you have a starter at half the cost, plus if i doesn,t work they can still buy him out at half the cost.
Then i tossed the other players we are gonna move also, but i needed some return, so Debincat & a pick was the return.

Maybe kerfoot and Holl somewhere else for picks. Include those picks in the trade and swap cat for strome. If leafs are moving kerfoot they will need a centre back who can fill in for injuries in the top 6.
