What Hugues will ask for Anderson

Created by: Joblow
Team: 2022-23 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 27, 2022
Published: Jun. 27, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
You might not like it but as for Lehkonen, Chiarot, Toffoli, Hugues won’t accept anything less then the price he has fixed. So if a team want to acquire him it will cost at least, something similar then Lehkonen got. And since Anderson have such a unique skill set i don’t see him trading him away unless he got a top 15 pick + a solid prospect or a top prospect.

Can’t see Anderson waiving to go back to Columbus, things did not end well for him there.

Well... according to the poster... Hughes overrates Josh Anderson.

What Hughes will get for Anderson: a 2nd and a B- prospect. Even that is too much for him

honestly idk why GM's value him so high other than the size. He's overpaid and wildly inconsistent

You may as well ask, "Why is Slafkovsky who scored 10 points in 31 games ranked 2nd overall"? It's size obviously...

eh, that's different. His Olympics and World Championship performance significantly rose his stock. Plus 17 year old top prospects don't do much better in the Finnish league

Lehkonen is a better player than Anderson and look what he got. Although I'd say Lehkonen didn't fetch enough

I don’t get why GMs are so crazed about size. If they like it so much, the Canucks will send 6’8 tower Tyler Myers for the cheap cheap price of the first overall pick. I don’t think Shane Wright will ever be 6’8!

I wouldn't trade a single one of those CBJ prospects for Josh Anderson 1 for 1.

Gosh. Imagine a 6’8” Shane Wright. Not sure he would be still be a center.

In 1st half, he didn’t get regular minutes. Was a lot better in 2nd half and playoffs.

These prices on Josh Anderson would likely get many of the top-line wingers reported to be available this summer. Habs should be aiming for a 2nd rounder.

There is nothing the Habs have that would return that package from the Jackets. Literally nothing. Yes, that expressly and explicitly includes the 1st overall pick and Suzuki together.
