That’s going to be a “hell nah” from Detroit. Chayka would be our 4-5th best LHD prospect and Martinez has to be moved for cap purposes + doesn’t hold that value.

laugh laugh Sorry but that doesn't even come close to getting a potential top 10 pick in the deepest draft in memory.

FWIW we will just offer sheet Nicolas Hague for a 2nd round pick instead.

I agree this isn't even close.

Detroit will gladly take Martinez for a pick but take out the extra nonsense we aren't moving a 1st for him.

What is this nonsense? Detroit doesn't even take that call.

Martinez for a 4th.

That Detroit trade is some Franchise mode crap, they don’t consider that. Also that Pasta offer is not nearly enough

To Detroit probably a third and fourth. To a team that is competing and needs him a third with a games played condition for a second

For anyone making new armchair GM mocks, Detroit does not want Alec Martinez, Jeff Petry or Marcus Pettersson unless we get an added benefit in the deal and we certainly won’t be sending 1sts, 2nds or 3rds for them.

Thank you.

Yea, no, that isn't happening... Move him elsewhere then.

Everyone whining about the Detroit trade as if the Bruins trade is not a complete monstrosity.

I'm not too familiar with the players going to Boston, but since I haven't heard of them, I assume they are B level prospects at best. So Pastrnak for a 1st in a deep draft. Pretty sure Boston says no, especially considering Bergeron is coming back.

From the Detroit angle, they give up a top pick in a deep draft to eat some salary for a serviceable D and low level prospect. No thanks.
