Mrazek was passed on waivers & the Oilers already have a backup. Makes no sense

If the Canucks are moving a first round pick, it’s to upgrade defense, not the wing

Trading Nylander to retain Mikheyev is not worth it, Joey Anderson might be able to bring the same elements at a much lower cap hit. We also would definitely be losing Bunting the following year. Lyubushkin isn't going to sign in Tor to play as a 7th D.

So instead of Mikheyev, leave that spot for a reclamation project or untendered RFAs.

Mrazek trade doesn't make much sense for the oilers.

Other than what I mentioned, I like the moves.

We don’t want anything to do with Mrazek especially for a 2nd

I wouldnt even do that Mrazek trade if the leafs through in 2 first round picks and took Kassian.

I simply do not understand the fascination some of you Toronto guys have for Anthony Stolarz -- specifically, why you think we would want to trade him.

Canucks aren't going next year's draft without picking in the 1st round

The Canucks don't need a first round pick if they get Nylander. Realistically, the Canucks are going for a mid- late ish first round pick next year and Nylander is better than anyone you're getting in the second half of the draft. The Canucks don't need a guy who will be ready in 2 or 3 years and then a little longer to get to their prime. They need to, upgrade in a few places especially on d as well, and try to contend with Demko, HUghes and Pettersson

I do not know why the Ducks would want to trade him, but I don't think Stolarz is really a big part of their long term plans moving forward. The reasons the Leafs need him is because he is a cheap, but solid backup goalie and the Leafs do not have money

Because there might be something to the constant drumbeat of rumored John Gibson trades, especially at the 2023 trade deadline. And we might want to re-sign him if Gibson goes on the market during the summer of 2023.
