Why would you trade Trouba? He's shown that he can shut down star players and not just for the game.

CBJ say no on that trade.

Jenner is simply unavailable and re-signing Laine long term is the top preference. Value wise, Columbus would want much more for those two and they would get it.

You overpaid Ashton-Reese, Cole, and Lettieri, grossly underpaid Motte and E-Rod, and you walked Laine straight to UFA

Overall it's a different team, but not necessarily a better one

Canes aren’t going to downgrade their roster for the Rags. CBJ just laughs that offer out. When the hell did Chytil become Eichel? That’s a rich offer for a couple of AHLers going to MTL. The Kraken at least has a chance of happening though.

Trading Laine and Jenner would signal a rebuild. Trouba fills a role for CBJ but his salary is just not good, you'd have to add to get us to take. This also assumes that he wants to leave for some reason.


I think we'd go Lafreniere, Kakko, Trouba and maybe something small. Maybe Chytil if we add something cost effective back for you. Maybe Kravtsov if he doesn't have that much value.

Perry, Cirelli, and Paul all suffered a shoulder/AC joint injury against New York. Sounds like Trouba might have left his mark and cost Tampa a cup, at least I'm happy thinking it was him.

I'm not a Rangers fan, was rooting for Tampa against them. I'm also not Trouba fan, I was just reading about the injuries the Bolts sustained and when I saw that they all had the same injury against, I remembered your joke that played off mine, tried to keep it alive but failed because I messed up the wording.

I meant to say "at least I'm happy to think that it was him" not "at least I'm happy thinking it was him"

I'm all for big hits, but not a fan of injuries or dirty plays.

OFFICIAL: #NYR have acquired a third-round and fifth-round selection in the 2022 NHL Draft, as well as a third-round pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, from Colorado in exchange for goaltender Alexandar Georgiev.
