DET declines. We need a center not a Winger. Plus he’s a UFA after this year and rebuilding teams rarely trade futures for aging vets.

20 man roster you can't get an injury and must go 11-7 all year. This makes sense to you? really?!!!

I didn't realize Tampa was in this much cap hell. They need to add one more forward and only have $91k in cap room. Doesn't look like they can sign Palat and Paul. I feel their pain as a Leafs fan, but at least they won two cups and made another cup final

Most lightning fans on here seem to think Palat is going to take under 5 to stay if he were going to it would be a done deal already. I think he's gone.

Detroit is not a trade partner for Killorn. Pass.

I don't know if it's cap hell, but it sure looks like Tampa can bring back ALL the players that made them so successful in the past three years. The reason I say "not cap hell" is because teams have no privileged rights on UFAs....like Palat and Paul. I'd be more concerned next season to see if Tampa have the cap to sign their RFAs.

Wings pass, we already have plenty of bottom 6 forwards, don't need a guy who had 0 goals in the playoffs and looked like he is past his prime. This guy goes to a contender not Detroit

I would take killorn for a fourth but that's all.

Right, like if they gave him to us at a massive discount, to clear cap, we could find a place for him, but it makes zero sense for Detroit to pay even below market value for him. Tampa could get more elsewhere for him, so it's just not a fit in Detroit.

Totally agree and I don't think teams will just give players away even if they are to their old gms. Also depends on his trade list as well though. I think they are just likely going to let Palat walk, that seems the easiest solution for them.
