I guess the sabres take that. Bjork is useless

No clue what Sabres trade brings, but anything that can replace Bjork and 4th will be welcomed
Selecting Kostin in the first round appears to have been a mighty swing and a miss who does not appear to have a decent AHL career in his future.
Bortuzzo on the other hand, is a solid RHD stay at home defenseman averaging 8.1 hits and 5.8 blocked shot per min.
In contrast Fitzgerald and Samuelsson average 8.5 and 7.1 hits/60 and Hagg and Samuelsson average 6.7 and 4.3 blocked shots/60, Buffalo best in those catagories.
While he only plays 13:44min/gm, 2:08 min are spent on the PK.
He would be a perfect pairing for either Dahlin or Powers.
While Bjork has a back ground of playing defense well, he has not found a spot in the Granato line up.
Bortuzzo is 33 yo but has a really low cap hit of $950,000 until 2023-24.
This is a really good trade for Buffalo giving up only a fourth and spare forward for a needed RHD.
