Easy no for Winnipeg. The Jets give up the two most valuable pieces and don't get much value in return.

It's also unlikely the Leafs are callous enough to try and move Amirov.

Benn and Tavares decline via NMC therefore the trade doesn’t go through.

I am having trouble deciding which deal is more lopsided in Toronto's favour, the Dallas trade or the Columbus trade.

I'd be curious to hear how overpaid you think Benn is vs Tavares so I can make fun of how lopsided your logic is.

I can't wait to see the Dubious' contract and him leave in 2024 with only 40 points a season.
Also if he's one of their most valuable players ... lol

They are both ridiculously overpaid for the next 3 years, and both teams are going to go through serious buyer's remorse going forward. If the 2 players swapped teams, no doubt Benn would produce more and Tavares less based on top end players on each team. Tavares would still likely produce slightly better numbers, but he also has a bigger cap hit. Value wise, a 1 for 1 swap is very close. The difference between these 2 players is nowhere near a first and 2 seconds.
