Description

To be clear, this is a year more out after these players have had another year of growth. This is not 2022-23. Scratches = Trade players. Taxi Squad = Next up from Rochester. Clearly, Buffalo would need to sign a few more high contract LTIR players in favor of adding a future pick or two in order to reach the cap floor. This shows that the Sabres clearly need to add more center depth to the young prospect pool.

1. I believe Mitts will be around for a while. Granato likes him and had him penciled in as 1C to start the year. When he played, he played well.

2. We have 8 picks in the first 2 rounds the next 2 years, and likely won’t need another center (outside of 4C) to come in for 3-4 years. Our center pool will be fine. Rd though…
