I don't think so. Foegele is a decent replacement body that doesn't need elevated minutes to be useful unlike debrusk. Getting a decent right shot depth centre as a throw in not that bad of a day for the bruins.

No more buyouts! Holland gets paid alot of money to do his job, if he cant make a trade with kassian involved happen he needs to be skidded asap.

Canes pass. We will just run it back with Freddie and Raanta. Koochie needs a full year in the AHL, so Raanta remains the backup.

Not giving much better he's a streaky scorer that doesn't provide much else and wouldn't get anymore pp time than foegele did.

I want to agree. Don't think retaining on his deal makes sense and not sure what a deal would look like sending full contract without taking back. Betting that will include assets much rather have and use at deadline.

If that's the return, the Bruins will just keep him. Doesn't make sense to trade him just for the sake of moving him and getting zero back.
