TBL offseason moves

Created by: JTBF81
Team: 2022-23 Tampa Bay Lightning
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 23, 2022
Published: Jun. 28, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
All three of Palat. Paul and Rutta are interested in staying, and Brisebois has already begun talks with their camps. Palat gets more term and stays where he mist wants to be, Paul's value on a 3 year deal is close to 3, so.maybe Tampa pushes it a bit more if needed, and Rutta still gets a 30-40% raise based on other deals. If Rutta has to go, so be it, Tampa can bring up Perbix or Day, pay a little more to Palat amd Paul if necessary and/or have a 22nd player on the roster(perhaps Koepke/Fortier/Nash or ufa signing for ~1 million). Ultimately though, both Paul and Palat should be able to be kept.

a 2nd and a 4th for 25 goals and almost 60 points in the regular season at 4.45m for 1 year..... he was a shutdown winger during playoffs playing with a Hagel who had a fractured foot since the florida series, and Cirelli who was playing with a separated shoulder and a joint sprain in the other shoulder

You do realize this is the same Dallas Stars that bought out Nichuskin for not scoring goals, right? There are better rentals for a 2nd and 4th. Let’s come back to planet earth on the draft capital or easy pass.

the value is reasonable for sure, i think Tampa would like a 2nd or 3rd rounder and maybe a prospect instead of an extra pick.

Nobody is looking to do Tampa cap favors. Dallas would be better served just signing Palat as a UFA seeing that the burden is on Tampa to create the limited space they can for him.

Should be an interesting battle between him, Koepke, and Ryfors for the final spot

Yes, the same person who will, as they've done on every acgm that moves Killorn, spout how Palat and Paul will need the moon to stay in Tampa lulz.

If Dallas.doesnt want him fine, 14 other teams that will pay a 2nd+ for what he brings. One bad playoffs doesn't diminish his value beyond 2nd+mid round pick/B orospect.

Yes, because Palat is leaving Tampa for Dallas, going from a true Cup contender to playoff bubble team. Ppl have said no one is helping Tampa for years, that's aged well for all those posts. Actual GMs like adding value/helping their team more than screwing another over, contrary to what so many on the internet seem to think.

I agree, Koepke, Fortier or Ryfors could also get a shot over ABB if they take it.
