The reason teams might want to trade these players to get cap space. But the players with NTC or M NTC won't have poor teams (teams with cap on there trade list. The players you listed,I think are kinda tough trades. As a Leaf fan, I'm hoping that Nylander gets traded as cap space is likely needed to sign a goalie. Though he well worth his contract, 7m X 2...who can take on his cap without sending cap to the Leafs? Either way, I don't see the returns being that good for the players you mentioned. Scheifele and Killorn could be the easiest trades.

I get criticized by Leafs fans for saying this, but I think Nylander trade value is a second rounder, with no cap coming back to the Leafs. Otherwise, teams can just sign a UFA for 7m instead.
Anderson really isn't worth is contract, so even if was "gifted" the Isles, I don't think I would good value for the Isles. Just better ways to 5.5m X 5 for a thirty five point player.

I think that's a little light as well. If Dubas said #13 and Mayfield for Nylander I'd do it. Or no Mayfield if you truly want nothing coming back. I don't think Lou/Dubas will work with each other though purely out of spite
